Autumn
On a crisp Autumn day,
as the dew drops fell off the leaves,
the air smelled of wet grass,
and I breathed in the cool air,
the sound of jolly schoolgirls playing
hopscotch
tumbled in my ears
Such a peaceful life - such a pleasant gift.
Spring
Some day, my dreams tell me,
a clear spring will replace
that trashed one near the hills.
Some day the birds will sing louder
at the sound of spring,
and the flowers will open up
their dainty eyes to look up to
the morning dawn.
And we will see
what a beautiful thought this world is.
Winter
On a blistering blurry day
the sky pulls up its
white puffy blankets
Time for sleep,
but when the world is asleep
the wind and snow take control.
Yet life for us humans goes on the same.
Oh, why cant we sleep through it too?

What I like to say
Oh, the things I have to say
every night and every day
Some I like -
flowers, red rose, twinkle
shooting star, cupcakes, sprinkles on top
and some I dont -
frumpy, grumpy, greedy
boring dull brown
I do love to say
good night and good day
but most of all
I like to yell
Happy Birthday!
every night and every day
Some I like -
flowers, red rose, twinkle
shooting star, cupcakes, sprinkles on top
and some I dont -
frumpy, grumpy, greedy
boring dull brown
I do love to say
good night and good day
but most of all
I like to yell
Happy Birthday!

In the library,
where magic appears,
where pencils shutter,
and where crayons ripple,
there is silence-------------.
Pin drop silence.
This is the sound of Magic!
where magic appears,
where pencils shutter,
and where crayons ripple,
there is silence-------------.
Pin drop silence.
This is the sound of Magic!

susan and the ghost
How would you like to take a trip to Maryland? To meet a girl named Susan. She was eight years old and her cousin Billy just happened to live next to her. One day Billy said he had a surprise for her at the park, but when Susan got there Billy and his frinds threw a bowl of fish and water at her. Poor Susan was all wet, with the fish sticking in her hair. They were dead. Billy laughed at her and the boys teased her, “Suushisanii.....Suushisanii..”.
'Stop It!” Susan shouted but the boys just ran away to play ball, still laughing at her. Except Billy, he was still standing there pointing at Susan and laughing so hard that surely his stomach must hurt.
'Billy! Stop being mean. Why do you do things like this? I hate you.” Susan said, picking the dead fish out of her hair.
But Billy just laughed at her more and said “That's why I do it.”
“Oh, forget it. You're such a jerk.” Susan said, stomping away in anger.
Just then a truck zoomed by. “Hey kids! Have you seen a ring?” The driver of the truck shouted.
“No” Billy shouted back. He followed Susan out of the park.
“A missing ring?” Susan said to Billy. “In the playground? I wonder if it is a wedding ring.”
Billy tried to be nice to Susan and said sorry. That's why Susan event alked to him. He was mean and naughty sometimes and played stupid tricks on her, but then he also was nice and helped her when she needed him.
That night Susan had a nightmare. It was about a terrible looking ghost taking over the world.
The next day at breakfast Susan's mom said, “Susan, you look so pale. What's the matter? Didnt you sleep well?”
“No, I had a terrible dream, about a ghost. I couldnt sleep at all.” Susan said.
“It's all the TV shows you've been watching” her mom answered her. “Why dont you go to your room and have some quiet time for a while, when you're done with your breakfast?” her mom suggested and Susan thought that was a good idea.
She was on the floor putting a puzzle together when Billy pounced on her from behind. He had a white blanket over him with two holes for the eyes. Susan screamed and Billy laughed, “Na na na na na.. you're such a scared cat!” he teased her.
But before Susan could say anyhting a big rumble came from the ground and out came a terrible looking ghost. One of his eyes was hanging out. The ghost shot an arrow at Billy and Bily fainted.
'SUSAN!” the ghost thundered. “I would love to more damage to your family now but I think I'll let you get a little bit more sad.”
Susan tried to jump on the ghost but it vanished.
“Its hopeless”said Susan. “I will never catch that ghost.Hmmm maybe yo're right. but then again maybe yo're not. what if we all help? Susan's mom said.
Thanks mom but I think I better try this on my own.
As you all may have guessed, Lilypad is sort of bored of blogging right now, so there have been no updates in a long while :)) And the ending is quite clever, only we havent been able to figure out the middle yet.

lily pad's poems
One leaf falls in fall
bright and red.
the second leaf falls
bright and yellow
the third one is..
a snowflake!
and I heard this somewhere, I think:
why do flowers bloom just to fall?
I do not know, but I do know this....flowers make the whole day brighter.
In a few days I will post my story, 'Susan and the ghost'.

some more jokes
Teacher: ella, name two pronouns.
ella: who? me?
teacher: excellent.
what has a body but no hands?
a letter.
what has hands but cant pick up things?
a clock.
what has a face but cant smile?
a clock.
what runs around the field but never moves?
a fence.
snake 1 to snake 2 : are we poisonous?
snake 2: why?
snake 1: becos i just bit my tongue.
